Steak with Teriyaki Sauce

The summer season is upon us! Break out your grilling skills and try making our simple yet tasty steak dinner. Show off your steak grilling skills to your family, co-workers and friends at your next backyard barbeque party. The recipe is not complicated and not time consuming, which leaves you extra time to socialize with your guests, or dive into the pool! Also, try making our homemade Teriyaki Sauce with our Yamasa Regular Shoyu or Organic Tamari Gluten Free Soy Sauce from scratch. Ingredients

  • 2 large carrots
  • 4 steak cutlets
  • Leaf (optional for garnish)
  • 1 large broccoli floret
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 8 tbsp Yamasa Teriyaki Sauce
  • Add Soy Glaze (optional)

Homemade Teriyaki Sauce (makes 1/2 cup)

  • 3 tablespoons Yamasa Regular Shoyu (or Organic Tamari Gluten Free Soy Sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons white wine (or mirin)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (or honey if you would prefer)
  • A couple drops of grated fresh ginger root juice (optional)
  • Mix all ingredients well.

Directions

  1. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the steak.
  2. Marinate (each steak cutlet) with 2 tablespoons of Teriyaki sauce. Cook the beef to your preference whether it is rare, medium-rare, or well done.
  3. Cut and boil vegetables and potatoes to your liking. Arrange the steak and vegetables on a plate.
  4. Add more Teriyaki Sauce or Soy Glaze to your liking.
  5. Enjoy!
