Brussels Sprouts

These beautifully crispy and delicious roasted brussels sprouts are the perfect addition to your holiday meal, or a great way to liven up a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb brussels sprouts, halved
  • ½ cup mushrooms, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 ½ tablespoons Yamasa RamenBroth, Shoyu
  • ½ tablespoon sesame oil
  • ½ tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 lb bacon, cut in one in pieces

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. In a medium frying pan, cook bacon until crispy, set aside.
  3. In a large bowl add brussels sprouts and the remaining ingredients. Toss to coat the brussels sprouts.
  4. Pour the mixture on to a baking sheet and arrange into a single layer.  
  5. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, until the Brussels sprouts are lightly charred and crisp on the outside and tender in the center. The outer leaves will be dark. Watch carefully towards the end of the baking time, as the cooking time will vary based on the size of your sprouts.
